Mobo not starting

Got the Asus M4A785-M and a new AMD Phenom II 550 and the thing isn't doing anything. Got a new 600watt PSU, mobo new, cpu new, new power switch, everythings plugged in and nothing. Bad mobo? or bad power switch? or what?

Does it Turn on, or when the power is pressed, nothing happens?

If it turns on, try removing the RAM and turning it on. if it beeps, the board's alive, and CPU is recognized. If it isn't, you have a sign that the board could be fried. If it does, try reseating the RAM, and if it doesn't work still, try another RAM stick or one at the time. I had my ASUS not working when I added my 1GB sticks.

If it doesn't turn on, try this:
Make sure the power switch is plugged in properly
Check your PSU, to see if it works...by using a paper clip to any black wire and shorting with the green wire.
