It's REALLY not a good time to buy a 4890. AMD is about to release a 5xxx equivalent, which will cause the price of the 4890 to plummet. Currently, there is nothing in that performance range in the 5xxx series, so the 4890 remains at the same price it was before. You might as well get a 4850 x2 considering its only $20 more, and has much higher performance.

As far as video, an HD 5770 is good. What is your budget?
You could also go ebay and look for a used 4870 or 4850.

shld i just get the 2x the radeon 4850 1gb? cuz i found one new on ebay for 80 bucks? And does it have to be like same company to crossfire it like HIS has to crossfire with HIS or can it be like HIS and XFX?
