Versus

I am putting together a gaming rig and looked at some review sites and saw reviews for both:
--Intel Core i5-661 3.33 GHz 4M L3 Cache LGA1156
--AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Quad-Core
--Intel Coreâ„¢ i5-750 2.66 GHz 8M L2 Cache LGA1156
But i have not seen them reviewed side by side.
The rig i am putting together would be equal in price for either cpu (with corresponding mb) so don't take into account price.

Which is better overall (oc, efficiency, etc)?

idk, id epect the AMD to do the best, because it almost keeps up with a I7 920

Actually a 955 seems to OC slightly better than a 965, and it costs less.
