Help picking speakers

I dont have sound on my monitor. what speakers would u recommend? I also only have onboard motherboad audio. No sound card add ons. I want something basic but good brand and cheap

Can i use this without needing to buy a sound card?

Yes you can. Those speakers arent very good though.

Well I guess they beat most other computer speakers, but they're nowhere close to a good surround sound system.

im just looking for something cheap and with a small subwoofer. nothing fancy yet. if you know of anything else 100 dollars or less. that is my budget

Well you could buy an entry-level home theatre system at like Best Buy or something, but that won't be a TON better.

The Logi speakers will blow away most every other computer speaker set.
