Built to order laptops?

i am looking for a website or something that lets you build laptops to order . and i dont mean dell or anything places like that give you an already overpriced model and ask if you wanna upgrade it, its not customizing it, looking for a website that lets you upgrade parts or downgrade parts for example all the websites force you to get an operating system. i have like 5 operating systems at home and i wouldn't mind saving 100 bucks. thats just one example, anyone know of a site as such described?

When I am bored and do not want to customize my own I will use tigerdirect full range of choice to customize. They do charge a little extra but they will work with you on the phone to make sure that you are setting the system up perfectly for what you are using it for. Just ask them the people on phone support are not useless.
