memory is this-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231166

my current cpu is 2.6 GHZ I want more than 3.0

I found a 3.4GHZ but its socket AM3 i would need a new mobo if i wanted that processor
new processor im looking at is this-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727

my questions is can you recomend me a mobo for that processor n my current ram? or do I need new ram?
the motherboard also has to be SLI

would i notice a huge difference from 2.6 to 3.4? would it be alot faster? is it worth it?

Thanks!

wait nvm would it be worth it to upgrade to 3.4GHZ?

how much better is 4gb's of ddr2 ram compared to ddr3 ram? i dont overclock

and i cant get 64 bit working on this comp

If you have a 9950, its not really worth upgrading IMO unless you are going to OC. The 65nm phenom's dont OC worth a crap, so you could easily get 4GHz+ out of a 955 on air.

Do you really need more performance than you are getting? I would wait for an upgrade, and get a new monitor personally. I love my 28 inchers. Definitely worth the upgrade from a 23.

you don't need one, I'm just saying it might be worth it to get like a 28 inch over the 23 and put the 23 as a second monitor.

CPU upgrades don't do a ton for gaming unless your cards are bottlenecked (which it doesnt look like)
