That was why I had to sell my last computer. The 790i FTW was selling like hotcakes and none more were to be made. But I didn't have the money to upgrade the board and RAM at the same time. But selling my computer posed the problem of then not having a PSU or GPU. Had to buy the 850HX and /eventually/ a GTS250.

I'll be selling my computer for $200, which will only pay for the CPU if I get it now. I was thinking when the quads (Phenom II or the i series) and 4GB DDR3 ram can be bought with ~$200, then I will sell my computer and get those.
