By 98 do you mean windows 98? Because if that's the case it's around 10-12 years old is probably too weak for HD videos and whatnot.

98 is exceedingly old in computer terms actually. Those things won't run anything noways really.

What are the actually specs on the computer? If you've got one of the 1Ghz+ pentium 3's and a fairly good GPU, there's a chance it will work. Not a very big one, but a chance no less.
