Seemingly ATA/IDE Hard Drive..

Anexea

Hey..I just went to micro center to purchase a enclosure for my hard drive from my old Inspiron 6000. The hard drive works perfectly fine, the rest of the computer, not so much. Unfortunately, the IDE enclosure is the wrong kind, and the SATA seemed to not fit either. The hard drive clearly says ATA/IDE on it. I've searched around the internet, but I can't seem to figure out just what kind of HD this thing is...Most IDE seem to have little "teeth" coming out of it, and that's what the enclosure would seem to suggest.

The info on the tag on the hard drive is:

Hitachi Travelstar

5400 RPM
ATA/IDE
60 GB

Pictures of it at:

They aren't very good pictures, but..:x

Info on what kind of drive it is, and if it's possible to buy a enclosure for would be much appreciated! :D

P.S.
I know it's still in the caddy, I just didn't feel like taking it out again :p

Thanks =]

have you tried to look up your pc on Dells site?
you should have a service tag number (even tho it might have letters)
and anyone could look up your pc online
and take it from there
