Sorry it took me so long to reply, I had a migraine... ugh.

Anyways, it looks like the PSU is 100% dead. I wasnt able to get it to start. I bought the thing secondhand, is OCZ's warranty transferrable?

darn, well I'll contact them anyway since the guy I bought it from had only used it for like a week, then decided to get a modular PSU.

I don't wanna have to spend another $200+ on this.

Well that really sucks dude. I'm very sorry. And if OCZ's warranty isn't transfer able, there are several PSU's in the 1000 Watt range that cost less than $150 that I'd be happy to suggest.

Yeah, I mean definitely give them a shot. Sometimes, all you need is the UPC (which you have since you have the box) as the "proof of purchase". You can always go on the "I'm a faithful OCZ customer, and I've always chosen your products first..." gig. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If you get a representative that won't send you a new unit, complain and give the spiel above and then tell them you want to talk to their supervisor.
