Slow PC gameing

I was just wandering if eneyone else is haveing problems running games on PC when theye have far beyond recomended system requierments

for example

Recommended: for Divinity II - Ego Draconis

•OS: Windows XP/Vista
•Processor: 2.6 GHz Dual Core processor
•Memory: 2 GB RAM
•Graphics: Graphics card with 512 MB memory supporting DirectX 9.0c and shader model 3.0 (NVidia 8800 series / ATI 3800 series)
•DirectX®: DirectX 9.0c (XP), DirectX 10 (Vista)
•Hard Drive: 9 GB free hard disk space
•Sound: Sound card supporting DirectX 9.0c

Im Running


•OS: Windows XP (sp3) 32 bit
•Processor: AMD Phenom black edition 810 running @ 2.6GHz usaly running overclock 2.8GHZ
•Memory: 4GB kingston DDR3 1333MHz RAM
•Graphics: Gforce 9600 1GB DDR3, 256-bit, 2x DVI, HDTV, HDCP - PCI-Ex16 v2.0 (650MHz, 1.8GHz)
•DirectX®: DirectX 9.0c
•Hard Drive: 500 GB free disk space
•Sound: Sound card supporting DirectX 9.0c
•Mobo: GA-MA790FXT-UD5P

i know this game is worse then most but i still get slow frame rates on other new games even with graphics on medium to high
settings is it becouse im running a 32 bit OS

is eneybody else experiencing these problems ?
 
thanks for the reply from what i have seen on different sites my graphics card is a pice of crap im planing on getting a ati 5850 see if that boost the gameing experience :D
 
Well, before you can call it a piece of crap, you could just get something like a GTX 260 as well. The recommendations were for a high end card. You have a mid range second gen car in your hands.

Lower the resolution and graphics quality. 5850s aren't given, but don't cost an arm and leg.
