NEC: Warranty - 3 years parts and labor, including backlight
It's really more monitor versus television kind of thing, since the Sony has a built in tuner.Hmm. It's kind of a tough read. It's not necessarily apples to oranges, but it's HDTV vs Business-oriented display.
Mainly movies and television.9ms on the NEC seems like a lot to me, but depending on what kind of specific use you'll be doing (like, no gaming...?), then it probably won't matter much.
The warranty really leaves an imprint on you. I mean, it's not even comparable. Three years versus one.Part of quality (to me at least) is service.
