I need help with choosing mobo and video card(ATI or Nvidia) . also. I have a ps3 so is there a need for a blu ray player on my comp or should I delete the blu ray and keep the standard dvd drive?

this will be connected to a 30 in HD 1080p monitor

Ditch the blu-ray and get a samsung dvd writer. Go with the E758-A1 Mobo.

id recommend the HD5770, or 5850 if your going to be gaming hard core.

the HD5870 is just over kill.

Get the cheaper one as you arent going to be using Triple SLI, though IMO, I'd get a crossfire board since you're getting an ATI card.

I can get you a 5850 for like $50 cheaper if you're willing to buy from somewhere else.
