Hi guys,
Long time since i've posted a thread in hardware but here we go. I'm running Vista on my laptop and downstairs i have an XP machine with a printer that i want to network to. I have put both the PCs in the same workgroup and can file share perfectly, but when i try to connect to my printer (a HP Deskjet F380) over the network it says it needs to install drivers, i ask it to do so and it stops responding, every single time, i have attempted installing the HP drivers manually and that was successful but when i went back into the network and sharing center and tried to connect to the printer it told me once again that i needed the drivers. Anyone got ideas how to fix this?
