To be honest, that is not a bad price for all that you are getting. I would at least go with a quad-core if you multitask a lot or prefer a better frame-rate while gaming. If you want the system to run cooler, go with another CPU cooler. rather than the stock one.

The problem with the case is that it supports ATX not MicroATX, which is what the motherboard is. Therefore, that case is useless. I would go with something such as the Corsair 800D. It has plenty of room expand if you plan on doing that and supports ATX and MicroATX motherboards. It is amazing for cable management and is just an awesome case overall. I am going to get one with my new build in February. Here is a video on it showing its features and how well you can build the computer in under an hour. (If you know how to build a computer)

Cheers and good luck. :)

Thanks! I'll check that fan. Any suggestion on the case, by the way? Thanks for all this help!

YIKES! That costs a lot. Any other suggestions for a case? Oh yeah, and do I need a sound card, or can I just plug in speakers and be all set? Thanks for all the help, again.

You could probably go with this case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119152

And I don't know if you had a power supply picked out already but make sure it is a 24-pin so that it will be compatible with the motherboard.

You shouldn't need to get a sound card as long as the speakers are 2.1. So the integrated audio should do the trick. Good luck with your build.

Cheers.

I'm just gonna stick with the case I had and switch to a different motherboard. It will save me $$ :) Oh, and what do you think of my new motherboard pick? I'm gonna check & make sure the 500 WT power supply is enough for all that I got.

THANKS!!

Get this case.
Antec 902
It'll take your motherboard, plus you PC will run COOL with this, plus it's sexy :D

That is case is more expensive than the one that I just told him about and plus he said he is gonna keep the case that he has and he just switched the motherboard. Just letting you know. :)

so is that list that you have in your first post the current build list?
or have you made changes?
