Ok so i wanna make a montage and split the video i get from my XB360 to my computer and not lose quality.
someone recommended a RCA Y Composite splitter ( female female )
but i dont see how that would accomplish what im doing.
i need to buy a cable that goes from my computer, to my tv and xbox, approx 10 feet, and be able to see what im playing on my HDTV, so everytime i wanna get montage footage, i dont have to move my xbox.
ALSO, I GOT A CAPTURE CARD, INSTALLED THE HARDWARE and SOFTWARE, its a hauppauge dual tv tuner card, but it comes with some recording software.
so if i plug the av cables directly in, i wanna be able to have video on my HDTV and my computer.
IDC if the computer footage isnt HD quality, i would prefer it to be, but if not thats ok.
IF I HAVE THE RIGHT CARD, please tell me, and if not, what card should i get?
also, the cable that came with it, has the 8-pronged input and then female A/V inputs and then splitting off is another 8-pronged input.
