probs watching dvd help needed!!

we have a pentium 4 think its been upgraded not sure what grphics card is in it.. we seem to have a problem watching dvds on it, the dvd will play fine but it looks, very red 3d type graphics. tried a few different dvds and there all the same.. it makes them unwatchable.
dont know why? we also have freeview running through this pc and thats fine

mods if this is in the wrong section i apologise..

any help appreciated

Check the software you are using to watch the DVD plates, because atimes the quality of playing dvd graphics and sound depends the the type of software you use to watch the DVD, so change the software.
