I have an hp with these specs: AMD Athlon (tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ 2.00 GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM and i have an nvidia geforce 8800 gts and i wanted to upgrade the RAM, cooling, power supply, and case. Is there a limitation to how much i can put on the computer? If so, how much?

Sorry, let me try again, I realize I wasn't being clear with my first post.

I have an HP Pavilion a1430n, stock, with an added Nvidia 8800 GTS video card.

Here are the links to the specs and motherboard.

I would like to achieve better performance without buying a completely new set of hardware. If I upgraded the PSU, cooling system and ram, would I achieve any noticible increase? Would it just be a better idea to buy/build a new PC?
Also, is it possible to rip the guts out of this case and put it in a new one?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to CF Man :D

Looking at that motherboard you can only upgrade to DDR1 RAM,DDR1 Ram is Old-hat-tech nowadays! You might want to consider upgrading Motherboard and CPU Aswell! So from the specs you have now i would recomend upgrading your motherboard,CPU,RAM,Case And Powersupply.

Let my know how you feel and what your budget is and i'll see what i can do :)
