Help please computer won't turn on!!!!!

Ok so my computer won't turn on. I press the power button and it turns on for like 30 seconds then turns off, then turns on by itself then turns off again and so on. When it turns on I hear something skipping like the HD or the diskdrive. What should I do?

There's probably a wire hitting the CPU fan. Open it up and clear the obstructing wires. It's probably shutting down to save joo PC from overheating. Otherwise unplug you're HDD and see if it stays powered on for more than 30 seconds.

And if that is not the problem it could be your hard drive is going dead, or you downloaded a program that corrupted the OS. But that's the worse case scenario.
