View of Obama Changed: For the Worse.
Voted For Obama: No
Would you change your vote: No
Do you still think he is man for the job: No
For or against the war: Against war but for the reason
Should we pull the troops: No
Comments: I personally did not like any of the candidates for the 2008 Election. But I know that I DIDN'T like Obama.
I am not racist by any means, so don't even go there.

I think the guys a joke personally, But he's my president. The trillion dollar stimulus package, Stimulated nothing. People getting into presidential dinners that don't belong? I was embarrassed to be under that guy when I first found out about it. They made the Secret Service look terrible. Then you have his health care package. One guy said it best. You are looking to insure 15% of Americans, However in the process you are going to screw the other 85%. One thing Obama avoids to address like the plague is Employer offered Health benefits. His reply is "Don't worry America, If you want to keep your Employers health insurance you CAN"....Little does he think that it's all about money, So most Employers will STOP providing health care and send them to ObamaCare. Corporations and business will be saving billions of dollars if they drop everyone on Obama.

^^That pretty much sums it up. I didn't vote for him because I had no confidence in someone who only voted "present" on every single bill before him.

I don't know why He isn't looking to allow Canadian drugs into our health care. Getting cheaper meds from there would significantly lower costs simply because of the compitition it would create.

I hate his "share the wealth" ideas too. I work my butt off for everything I have. So why should my pay check get money taken out for those too lazy to even search for a job? If you don't want to work, then you don't deserve to be fed from my money.

Political Standing: let's say centre left... a conservative socialist. (if such a thing can exist)... (though I believe Chris rock sums this up more than adequately).

View of Obama Changed: No.

Voted For Obama: N/A don't live in America, but I would have given the chance...

Would you change your vote: given the time again, I don't think I'd have wanted anything different...

Do you still think he is man for the job: I never particularly thought that he was the man for the job... just that he was the best of a bad bunch.

For or against the war: Against war in general... I did just write a long explanation about how I see Iraq/Afghanistan as different, but it makes no odds, Obama didn't lead the country into war, and he can't just run away from it... a job has been started and it needs to be completed.

Should we pull the troops: when the job is done, yes.

I would agree, and I feel the same about my own countries premiere

The trillion dollar stimulus package, Stimulated nothing.
however...
a) he only committed 2/3rds that money, the rest was already "invested" (read pissed away) before he even took office...
People getting into presidential dinners that don't belong? I was embarrassed to be under that guy when I first found out about it. They made the Secret Service look terrible.
again, how does this make him look bad? if the secret service weren't doing their job then how is this his fault?

compare that to silvio berlusconi currently lying in a hospital bed after his security failed... makes the security looks bad, not the premier,

if it works anything like it does in this country employers will make contributions on behalf of the employee as well as the employee making contributions from their wage packet...
also, as far as I know, the package isn't finalised yet... so let perhaps not judge someone for policies that they haven't even passed yet!

it's called protectionism, put yourself in the position of a meds manufacturer in the US, you;re going to lobby really rather hard to keep making sure that you're at the top spot with regards drugs manufacture! also consider when things go wrong the FDA can shut down a drug manufacturer in the US, they aren't going to be able to shut down a drug company, or order compensation from a foreign company...

I hate his "share the wealth" ideas too. I work my butt off for everything I have. So why should my pay check get money taken out for those too lazy to even search for a job? If you don't want to work, then you don't deserve to be fed from my money.
and that's really where I disagree, I work hard for my money, but I don't mind providing into a welfare state so that other people who can't work can be provided for...
b ut yes, people too lazy to work can go and die for all I care.

I don't know if I was clear so I'll just make sure that I am. Like you if people can't work for a legitimate reason then I have no issue. It's just the ones who refuse to work that make me mad.

I understand the point of the FDA, but I think it'd be a lot more beneficial if we could have the better pricing. Should a drug from Canada prove to be bad, then we could ban that one particular company/drug. Nothing says we'd need to shut down any company. But then again, as long as the government has their pockets liened with the drug companies dollars, nothing will change.

As a president, your biggest job is to be someone that all of us can blame all the countries problem on, at least those that don't fully understand it.

The real problem, we are trying to live by and work by the fact that growth is good. Well, news flash, it's bad, in a finite environment, exponential growth is imposible, and we are getting a small taste now of what the collapse of our economy is going to be. Because the world economy and our economy WILL collapse.

Exponential growth is not sustainable by finite resources, and the more we grow, the bigger the collapse. This has nothing to do with Obama, McCain, Bush, any of that. Whatever we do to fix the economy now is only delaying the inevitable.

I agree that ObamaCare sucks. Either socialize it or don't, but half assing it is gonna do nothing but hurt us. I'm fine with our private insurance (though if I was without a job that'd change) and if its al socialized and I have to pay a tad more taxes, but I get to avoid all of that paperwork stuff because the gov takes care of it directly, I'd LOVE that. TOTALLY worth the money. Just like simplifying taxes. Make it easier for the people.

Thanks for your contribute guys. I like to see the sides and opinions of others. I think it helps one remember "I'm not crazy this is really happening" type of thing.

In this case, we have a pretty crappy president. I am a firm believer that Bush was not a bad president. Yes towards the end and nearing the 2008 Election as well as the economy decline, he did make some bad moves.

But through out his second term he was ridiculed and hated. It's funny to watch and see how people who thought Obama was "change" are proven wrong.

Here is a little story for those interested.
My cousin who lives in South Carolina, owns his own land. Has an out standing job, pays his bills on time and has an enormous IQ. All around awesome individual. He was out walking his property (he likes the out doors, most of the family does) he noticed some people...
He became rather confused as to what the heck these people were doing on his land. They had literally driven off of a road and onto his land and proceeded to set up a camp.
This family approached him and proceeded to tell him how they were not going to move. That he had no right and change was coming.
My cousin being a hunter and a skilled marksmen had his pistol holstered under his over coat. He took the gentlemen away from the family to have a talk with him. He did nothing but put his hands on his hips as to show him "hey I am armed and this is my land". My cousin then told the man that change is coming for you and your family if you don't get off this property right now. If you come back I intend to use this.

The family packed up and started to leave as they all said change is coming.

Now here is a little fact. They family had happen to be black, and obvious Obama supporters. What the hell gave them the idea that this would be an okay thing for them to do?! Just because we were having a -HALF- black president means they can trespass and tell the owner to basically piss off?
Remember that I am not a racist.
I support Women rights, Gays, Lesbians, Blacks, Mexicans, Asians, etc.

I do not spend my free time reading up on the latest bills being presented to congress. But I have heard a lot of moaning on this Health care bill as well as the net neutrality. Which I have not heard about in a while.
I have noticed a lot of "odd coincidences" with Obama and his supported group members. For example the massive amounts of Acorn examples.
His advisers supporting communism, etc.

I have also notice a big number of news stations not showing a lot of information. Like the massive 9/12 project, was taken extremely lightly.

Don't you think a story as up to 1 million people marching to the while house and millions of people meeting in other places around the US. Would be a big story? They only news station that I am seeing does display the whole thing is FOX. Yet, I hear that Obama is attempting to suppress FOX and any News corp supporting them.

Political Standing: Uh...I agree with the comment about Chris Rock. I'm not really one way or the other. I'm in the middle but form my own opinions about each issue.
View of Obama Changed: Nope
Voted For Obama: Yes
Would you change your vote: No reason to.
Do you still think he is man for the job: See above
For or against the war: Doesn't matter. Its happening and has been since way before Obama. Support the troops regardless of believing in the war or not. I am the right age to have friends from high school serving now so I have to support them regardless of what I believe about it being right or wrong.
Should we pull the troops: Definately shouldn't send in more.
Comments: I think that the beauty of America is the freedom to have these types of discussions. I'm just not sure why everyone is so anti-Obama. He's only doing what he can, no worse than Bush. Plus he can't just make laws without convincing the House and Senate to pass bills. It's not like he single-handedly spent a trillion dollars. He had to get approval from somewhere (read House and Senate). Obviously they felt it was a worth-while cause. I think he did manage to keep us from falling from a 'sevre' recession into a worse recession (since no one wants to say the d-word(depression)?

WTF? Not about the people, but about the story. I don't get tying that story to Obama and making it seem like he's the bad guy. And "obvious Obama supporters"? Did they have shirts on or bumper stickers on their clothes/vehicles. Were they aware that it was private property? Is it posted? Still it's not Obabma's fault....

It's posted all over the property.
How don't you see that story and the relation to Obama?
Not the cause that Obama could have changed it at all.
But the black family saying "change" is coming. During the 2008 Elections.
No of course it's not Obama's fault that was not stated anywhere in the story.
You are missing the point.
Did they have shirts and bumper stickers? You serious?
Your ignorance is insulting.

Also. I clearly stated "RANT" at the end of the post.
