Odd problem with USB ports

well.. i have this odd problem going on with my USB ports..they don't seem to be working when im in the windows environment..but in boot (bios/setup) etc..they work my mouse works...my usb keyboard works.. any ideas?

Is this a PCI US card? I'd say that you're motherboard is buggered, but because you're mouse works in BIOS mode that can't be right. Open up your system settings in windows and see if there's a conflicting device.

There shouldn't be though. I've already checked this, and suprisingly it SHOULDN'T work when in bios if its a motherboard problem.

All USB ports work doing bootloader...etc plugged in my ipod and it started charging...as soon as the wre came up it stopped and shut off..

if you look in device manager do you see the USB device as installed or as an unknown device?
