So I emailed ECS about my issues with my motherboard and it not being able to get video if I touch anything in the BIOS, and if I dont, it cant load the OS because I have RAID. I made it very clear that it is impossible to get anything usable, but this is how they respond:
1. Benchtest the motherboard outside the tower case.
2. Its absolutely imperative that the motherboard that you are using posts something on the screen.

wtf are they just screwing with me now? How does this make sense at all?!

They're making excuses to make you go away?
That's what I would assume. I never trusted ECS, they seem on the cheap side.

I'll translate:

1. "Hmm....it appears you are having an issue that we don't really care about. We'll just give you the standard answer we give everyone."
2. "^. Go away."

Their second point is obvious and pretty well unnecessary - I think we all know that it's important for the computer to run/pass POST.

Have you attempted a run outside the case? A port could be shorting. Unlikely, but still possible.

Probably means test the motherboard outside the case? But what a way to word it!

Well duh ECS! We all know that FFS! Thats why you have a customer query ECS!

In a word, yes.
How does this make sense at all?!
It doesn't. Don't let them fob you off.
