IDK, this is how it happened last time, ATI had by far the best card, then nvidia managed to blow it completely out of the water.

i honestly, 100% beleive this time ATi is ready, and is holding back on a card to use to battle Nvidias best.

thats what the 4890 x2 was, it wasnt released because nvidia's best beat it by a fairly large margin.

This time, I think its gonna be really tough for nvidia to beat the current cards, let alone the reserve card, though they have done it before, which was my point.

Yeah, I'm not gonna buy my 5970 until the 4gb one comes out also, because I think it'd be necessary at 5760x1200 resolution lol

When you have more vram than system ram... you know you're priorities arent exactly straight.

Its currently between $600 and $700, but like I said before, AMD has hinted that they are prepared for substantial price decreases when nvidia's new line drops.

wow thats amazing then, because the 4870 x2 was measured to draw 365 watts on its own.

That's impossible. TDP is 300W (75W (PCI-E port) + 75W (6 pin) + 150W (8 pin). And the TDP is always highly overrated.
