ok, i need help finding a good video card to put in a machine, that will just be used for lower end games like wow or what not.

would be best if it could cost less then 80$, require no power, or atleast run off 250W if it did require power.

dont need Max settings here, just something to get 30+fps on a 17in CRT screen.

Ideas?

GeForce 6200 or 7200/7300. FX5200 is a decent bs card. Hell, even an 8500GT.

We're talking PCI-E, right? I could send you my Radeon x600 if you pay shipping. I sincerely doubt it can run anything big, though.

which one would u say would give the best bang ?

atleast Med settings on wow i guess..

um not to good with budget GPU's

Well i got the Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT for around 59.99... It's a great card and i'm sure it will run WOW on at least medium. I play BF2 at ultra high settings so i don't think its a bad card and haven't dipped into the art of overclocking, so at stock it looks to be very practical for you!

P.S i got a mail in rebate so it was really like 89.99

9400 GT is a pretty good card. You can use that. I have it on my old pc/my dad's new PC.
Ran Bf2 all high with 45 FPS.

you're not gonna get a decent video card without at least a 380w-400w psu, most of the cards mentioned so far are absolute garbage for video games, but if upgrading the psu isn't an option you could try an 8600GT, it beats the 8500GT by a huge margin (really no comparison) and my son played COD4&5 with one at 1280x1024 and it looked and played pretty decent with the default settings, and it would be in your price range...

i dont really have a price range.
its just that PC its going in has an Atom Proc, so its not much to work with.

and anything to big, pretty much would get bottle necked.

perhaps i'll just let him play on the server PC once in awhile lol.

(will have a 4850HD)

*edit*
