Do you think DirectAdmin is a usable control panel?
Simplhelix offers it but I don't know much of that.

Not more or less than the other control panels. I personally like cPanel the most.

BTW, Are you going to use this company for shared hosting? Even without comparison I see that their deals ($20 for 5gb of webspace) are unreasonable. If you need an eCommerce hosting - it is possible to get it elsewhere, there are thousands of hosts who are offering better conditions.

In paricular I may recommend you webhostgiant.com - eCommerce-ready host with extremely low (almost ten times cheaper) price for completely unlimited accounts. Long experience and stably-good reputation.

Think simplehelix offers DirectAdmin because it's optimized for running web sites on their servers.
It's not difficult to use it as it has a user-friendly interface.
