{Option A}
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Intel® Pentium® Core 2 Quad Q8200 (2.33GHz, 4MB L2, 1333 MHz FSB)
+
6GB (3 X 2GB) PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz SODIMM Memory
--------------------------------------------------------------------
{Option B}
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Intel® Core™2 Duo E8500 (3.16GHz, 6MB L2, 1333MHz FSB)
+
2GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067MHz SODIMM Memory
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Question
1.0 - Does the Core2 Quad mean it's faster than the Duo since it's using 4 cores, or is the Duo faster since 3.16Ghz > 2.33GHz?
1.1 - Is the difference in speed between the DDR2 and DDR3 simply 1067 - 667? (so would that mean Option A has a total speed of 6*667 = 4002 and Option B has a total speed of 2*1067 = 2134? )
Thanks!!
