Need New Processor

I have a Aspire 5534, I need to upgrade the processor, It says that its a socket s1 in Cpuz, I have looked around online and plan to drop in a TL 60 is that going to work? Also I have read on ONE website that there is a issue with most Acer laptops when you do this it causes problems and blows the board out is this true? Thanks.

To be quite honest with you, it's not really worth upgrading parts on a laptop. You should just upgrade the entire thing (aka buy a new one). Take advantage of newegg's cyber Monday deal that ends tonight. See if you can find anything.

Well if your putting in a laptop processor made for a laptop then it couldn't hurt a thing

I was hoping thats the case, I have installed many processors for laptops before, but the second I read that the laptop may have issues on ONE site I became skeptical right now I have done my research and it looks like I'm getting a TL 68 that should be perfect for what I will be running to.
