Hey. ok i'm planning on building a new gaming PC and i've found some options listed below.

Case- Coolermaster scout or Antec
CPU- AM3 Phemon2 x4 3.2ghz
mobo- MSI 790FX or Asus 790FX
RAM- 4GB Corsair ddr3 1333 or 1600 (what are ther disavantages of using overclocked ram)
HDD- 500GB Western Digital or Seagate
GPU- ATI 4890 or 5770 (both similar prices and i cant see why the 5770 isnt more expensive, whats the catch? whats better:confused: ?)
PSU- Corsair 750watt
OS- Windows 7 pro or vista

any help or guidance would be much appreciated:)

The HD 4890 is a little faster (the HD 5770 is around the same speed as an HD 4870 which is ~10% slower than the 4890) but...
The HD 5770 uses less power, is more compact, and more importantly, supports DX11.
RAM- 4GB Corsair ddr3 1333 or 1600 (what are ther disavantages of using overclocked ram)
What do you mean by overclocked RAM? Are you going to overclock it yourself? You don't really need anything more than 1333 ATM, but if 1600 and 1333 are the same price...

the corsair ddr3 1333 and 1600 are the around the same the price but the motherboards support 1333 and 1600(OC) is it just safer to get 1333?
