Task Manager help

I have win xp pro

Went I go into Task Manager and then click Processes.
Then I go to my Mem Usage tap everything gets listed.

Now went I look underMem Usage on the right side everything and how mutch RAM it taks is there.
512 k or 62 k and what ever.
As I look at the CPU list infront of that everything under it is

00
I don't understamnd

Are you saying the CPU usage for each process is 0? That would be because your system is idling... if you look at the bottom of the list (or part way down depending on how you've sorted it) you should see a "system idle task" that's taking up close to 100%.

I just looked at the Performance tab and for my CPU Usage it has 50 Percent.

I have a Core 2. AMD and the only thing I have running in the background is
Anti Virus

so what is this

Well... you tell me! What processes in the task manager have the most processor usage?

Well like I say under Performance tab CPU Usage is 50 %
So I look under Processes tab and System Idal Process is taking CPU 31 %

And this is all that I see everything els is CPU 0.

So why is my Daul Core CPU say under performance 50 % is being used??
