Laptop brightness control not working...

So I installed Windows 7 Professional x64 onto a HP 6735s. It has a ATI Mobility Radeon 3200. There's a slider under Power Options for the brightness, but I can't move it. I can slide it around, but when I let go, it immediately goes back down to the lowest settings. The latest CCC/drivers are installed for the GPU. I'm running out of ideas! I may remove all drivers for the GPU, and reinstall them.

I don't know if it is the GPU drivers or possible a chipset driver? Are there any drivers not installed in Device Mangaer?

Nope. Everything is installed and working properly...
