Black screen?

ok so on my PC i turn it on and it boots normally.

once it gets to the desktop, its just a big blank screen that has a white mouse curser and at the bottom right it says Windows 7 build 7100 and thats all i get, nothing else.

ideas?

will any of the hot keys work? try ctrl + alt del and see if you can start a new process or something.

nope, dosnt do a thing

um going to try to underclock? see if that does anything..

Whats the specs? Is it a dual port card if so try the other slot ( doubt it will do anything but its worth a shot ) I looked into it some people said they updated BIOS and it fixed it? Not sure how you can do that though.

this has all be working like a charm since before april.
i was doing some Resident Evil 5 Gaming this afternoon

shut off the pc because i was leaving the house

and now i go to turn it on and i get that friggen black screen crap.
i can get into safe mode, just i try to do a NOD32 Virus scan, and it comes up with a command prompt window an i dont think it scans anything.
