I have some what of an idea which card to get but i want to see what yall come up with that cause im not good picking different computer parts o yea also if the vid card has a hdmi port can i just hook that hdmi cord from the card to the tv are no and also when win7 comes out what game's can i play....

Guys, do you even know if that card will work with his system? I highly doubt his system has the power to handle this card.

What size monitor do you have?
Is your computer prebuilt?
If so, what model is it?
What are your specs if it isn't?
How big is your power supply?

You guys should know better than this.

What size monitor will you be using? Anything under 1900x1200 is practically useless for that card.

No offense, but that's not a very well thought out build. I suggest you go with an i7 and a dual GPU setup since the 5870's are hard to obtain. But all in all, it really depends on your monitor.

This is completely optional, but you might enjoy it. It's to install your OS on. It will cut down boot time to seconds. Just something cool to have on your side, especially in bragging situations.

I haven't chose a GPU yet because of the monitor situation. This build should be a little cheaper and I haven't use any combos yet and that should cut off another $100+ easily.
