Help! I think my graphics card broke!

I got a pos monitor from a friend who builds business systems for restaurants and it did the same thing... luckily my boss at the church had a spare for me and it works fine

Haha but thankfully mine works fine, for now.
I would be so pissed if it broke, cause it's also a TV and I DO NOT have another $350 to fork out.
Even if the white bars were there during boot, I wouldn't replace the monitor, as it's not bothering me, I will just keep the monitor till it craps out.

It's probably not a monitor then. I'm willing to bet it's a television with a VGA/HDMI input.
