Here we go AGAIN. Aparently, NASA is going to crash two satellites into the moon in hopes of finding water. Not to mention this whole f*cking thing the government is doing is going to cost all of us who work $79 million dollars.  http://buzz.yahoo.com/buzzlog/93080?fp=1

79Million isnt as much as you would want to think.

some people could even afford that out of there own pocket.

and if anyone has a problem with them doing this, go do research, and then go bitchm out for it.

and NO it will not screw up the moons orbit. If anyone says that it will, um Neg repping them.

lmao

Yeah, countless asteroids have hit the moon. That's why it has all of those craters.

lol ya, an i figured i'd say it off the bat, because the last time there was an article/thread on here about it, everyone was all freakin out sayin it would make the moon loose its current orbit...lol

or blow up the moon...

I'm not worried about knocking the moon off it's orbit. But common, firing a rocket into the moon to see if there is ice there? REALLY?! Then what? Wait 50 years until we can mine it. This is just a waste of time.

I just think they could get more out of it if they sent another manned mission, surely they would learn more about the moon that way

Because smacking a satellite into the moon is much easier then carefully planning out every little detail to make sure they come home safely :)
I'm wondering what NASA's plans are if we DO find water?
