Ok so yesterday i got an error that i needed to update my nvidia divers so went to the site and instead of getting the drivers they now offer you this thing called Driver Robot which you have to pay for (it checks and downloads the drivers your pc has that are out of date) so i didn't want to have to pay for free drivers so I looked for and downloaded a keygen (i know stupid me) installed it and my webpages spam to ''thefreeonline'' or something like that, my anti-virus programs won't update themselves and system restore is turned off and I can't turn it back on. Have ran Ad-aware virus scan twice and got 3 level 10/10 viruses + 1 keylogger.

Just Ran AVG Free and when i came back to check on it it had said it failed because it was corrupt.

Anyone shine some light on my problem? or atleast to fix my system restore so i can go back from last night?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong topic.

hmmm. If you had a time machine, you could go back to the past and turn on system restore. Otherwise I'd just do a clean install of windows.

You can try running whatever free antivirus scanner you can find, maybe Spybot S&D and CCleaner as well. Unfortunately, a reformat and clean installation of the OS will probably get you up and running in the least amount of time and with the least effort. Another thing to try if you have another computer is to put your problem hard drive in an external USB enclosure and run your AV scanner from another PC (preferable one without problems). Good luck...

Try using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and see what happens. Hopefully it works.

Found over 500 infected files most from videoegg, no idea what that is, found more keylogging & viruses high risk ones but still having the same system restore and browser problems, any ideas?
