i downloaded the catalast and the drivers and tried everything but i can't get it to work,i wasn't paying attention when i bought this pos that it didn't have s video out trying to hook to the tv

could make sure the onboard drivers are removed before installing the new drivers for the new card. If you didnt.

be sure to power the card to if it requires it.

Since the card is pretty old, it may just have a bad slot. That's what happened to me and my ATI 2600 PRO after a few years.

Where are you getting your drivers from?
What card were you running before the new one?
