Virtual PC network problem

Hi, I have a problem with my machines network adapter after installing Microsoft Virtual PC.

I am running Windows 7 with Virtual PC 2007 edition. When I install this, I lose my network connectivity on my main pc. If I go to the adapter properties and disable "Virtual machine network services" the connectivity returns, however, I cannot access the network from within the virtual machine.

Any ideas?

If there is an option for bridging the network adapter, try that. That has helped me in the past with Virtual PC type setups.
