board first had issue where it wouldnt detect SATA drives has since been sent to asus for repair and has returned on 10/20\2009

If its under warranty why not YOU send it back for RMA and then sell the new board they send back. Just dont see someone paying 80 for a board that dont have working sata ports and then have to send it out and spend more money.

no, they're being truthful, there are boards out there that are cheaper and have working SATA ports and don't need to be RMAed, extra $$ to spend bringing the cost well over $100 when the exact same board brand new is $115 shipped at Newegg...
