jmacavali Fully Optimized Messages 4,867 Sep 15, 2009 #3 It's so you can make a USB port 'act' like a nic card. It's also very useful when you are reloading computers alot so that if you don't have the network driver, you can use the USB adapter and use that to go online and get the driver.
