Phone Dialer help

I just went o google.com and looked for how do I get win xp Phone Dialer.

And I saw something that told me Win XP does have a Phone Dialer it is just Hidden.

And it ssould be in Start All Programs Accesories then Comunacation.

But I don't see it.

How do I get it to come up???

When you say dialer, I'll assume that you mean for making phone calls or sending faxes through an analogue modem, rather than for dialling the internet.

click start > run

type

dialer.exe

you can create a short cut to this and add it to the start menu if you want as well.

Thats it thank you.

But if it is a Real program built into Windows why is there no link in the Start Menu???

And if I want to make a shortcut ware do I find the Program to make one from it???

you just right click and press new > shortcut.

if you right click on the start menu you can press open, then you get a folder view of the start menu.

pressing open opens the folders specific to your account, pressing open all users opens the folders that are generic and the shortcuts can be seen by all the users accounts on the PC...

As for why they never included the icon to start with...

I've no idea.
