Older Comp Faster than Old?

He'd have to OverClock it pretty well. Those early AMD processors ran faster than the Intel counterparts. In another words, that 2.4GHz is faster than you think it to be.

You know what's funny actually, I was reading an old post where I was talking about that and you're right. Those older AMD's had these + numbers next to their clock speed to indicate that they actually run more like an eqauivalent Intel. And guess waht, this AMD has +3400. So basically it runs like a 3.4 Ghz pent. So yeah, you're right, thats what it is. This sucks because I'd easily switch back to the AMD, but I just noticed I actually dont have an SATA in the AMD because for some reason it wont read the SATA drive even though theres 2 ports for it. I think cause its an older mobo on that AMD. Oh well, mystery solved at least...
