right, basically a couple of years ago i bought a standard home desktop pc.
it had no chance to cope with vista which came pre-installed so i downgraded to windows xp, which appears to be abit glitchy on the computer which isn't my point.
I got this high-spec graphics card, a PNY Nvidia Quadro FX1700 512MB DDR2 to be exact. now on its box it recommends at least a 500W PSU to power it, but this computer only has a 350W PSU. i found two power connectors inside the computer which the graphics card requires and all seems to work fine. but i want to check whether its a good idea doing this, could it be over-working the PSU? is it going to be causing any long term damage? it seems to work fine but im not convinved im doing the right thing here.. any help on that would be great!
P.S. after solving this issue, a RAM upgrade will be done then vista recovery disc may be used and vista might return!
