cant connect to wireless

ok i have a WRE54GS,(linksys router) and my lenovo x200 (with xp pro) can connect to it but when my friend with this dell laptop (with vista) tries to connect to it, he can only connect "locally" to it? how come? (while I can be on the internet wirelessly..)

Do you have everything configured correctly in the settings and such for internet access? This is an extending device, these devices require a lot of care and setup. Please explain more about your network and how it is setup.

Try updating the firmware to the device if there is a firmware update.

Just asking: Are you sure it is a "WRE54GS" ?

thats exactly what I Did I updated the drivers on my friends laptop(vista) his network card and it worked.. by the way what did you want me to explain more?! just so I know for next time. yes I am sure its a WRE54GS
