Im trying to play grid on my toshiba laptop but need shader 3.0. Is it possible to download it somewhere, or is my video card just not good enough?

ya i think it is a 945 chipset, it has intel centrino duo

From what I have looked up in that case, since it is probably using a video card on chip; is that it is using a Intel Graphics Media Acceleration 950.
It does use Direct X 9 technology, but I'm afraid it does not support Shader Model 3.0, and only supports Shader Model 2.0.
If the game doesn't have an option to lower the shader model, I'm afraid the game will not work on the system.
Plus, GRID is a very demanding game, and most onboard chipsets are not capable of delivering the power needed, even at lower resolutions.

Yea, with that integrated graphics your not going to have ANY luck playing this game. I suggest buying a laptop at least with an actual card next time
