Bookmark help

When I used Internet Explorer I exported my favorits and they are still on my desktop and they say

Bookmarks.HTML

I know I can Import Favorites from Internet Explorer to Firefox but can I just Import the Bookmarks.HTML file that I have on my Desktop?

That's what you're supposed to do

In firefox, go to Bookmarks on the toolbar> then to organize book marks>then to Import/Backup then to import HTML i believe

However
in your other post, you wanted to get rid of both internet explorer AND firefox?
