Hi everyone i want to make a gaming rig that will be able to handle new games such as Crysis, AA, GTA. I don't want to spend more than 1,500 or so and may look into over clocking it. This is also my first build.

I have put together some items and want to know if they are compatible and any opinions on them. I don't know the first thing about building a computer so let me know if anything is missing or helpful to add. :D

Does this mean i can't use a ATI card?

The reason for different websites is to save on tax.... i live in california so i would like to order from a site that is cheaper.

Thanks in advance for any advice!!

What is wrong with that PSU? It's perfectly fine for that build, and Corsair makes pretty good quality power supplies. Unless things have changed in the last few months.

hmm should i get a more powerful power supply??
Can anyone point me to a link that could walk me through the building of a gaming rig like this? Thanks!

Pricing comes out to $1570 for everything but the operating system so $1769 with op.

Do i really need a higher power source?? How would i be able to calculate that? I do plan on running dual video cards in sli in the future also.

Thanks for the links and advice so far.

well...the 285 i think requires a 600 watt psu

2x285's will run on a 750, but A 850 will def give you more headroom and room to relax, but 750 will definitely suffice.
