Is it possible to make an internet inaccessable without being hooked up to the router

What I meant was, If the internets not hooked into the router the internet won't work

I'm confused as to what you are trying to say, but if I get what you are saying, if you are using DSL with a DHCP connection, you can go into the router and release the IP/DHCP settings and everything will be zeros till you renew it.

or you can just simply put in the Mac addresses of the PCs that you want to keep
and block everything else
or just unplug it

I'm talking about, a setup were u can only go on the internet through the router and if the internet plugged directly into the computer u won't get any internet

You could try configuring the computer to your routers ip address and all that. See if that works. I've never tried...

my brother always unhooks the router and hooks it to the computer which make all the other computers unable to access the internet. So this would prevent that
