so far as naming your computers, the laptop I'm using at the moment is called en2229 boring name, but that's cause it's a work laptop.

my laptop at home (which I bought to leave in the front room in a house share so everyone could use the internet) is called porntop because it's for people to look up porn on.



so far as blowing smoke into your computer,
I don't think it'd have the same effect with laptops (and that's all I have now) my desktops haven't been switched on for ages.

Firstly I don't smoke in my room, because I don't want all my stuff to stink like smoke.
I had a friend in uni who smoked like a chimney, his ash tray was sat in front of his PC so there was always smoke blowing into his PC, this lead to everything inside being coated in a black sticky gunk, (the tar in the smoke).
(Cleaning that should have really put both of us off of smoking!)

I did that in my case, with all fans on high, and it took probably .000123 seconds to be sucked out the back fans, haha, it was so cool.

I don't really get the whole point of "naming" your own computers. Unless they were your friends or something. In that case, you have some real issues to work out.

X2. I don't have a name for mine. But I did decide to name my last case project "Black Smith" just because it's like the biggest mod I've done so far...even though it was basically just painting the case. But, yes...if you name your computer or interact with it on a physical level..you def. have some issues.

i name my computer when i get mad at it LOL that's the only time tho =D and i couldent do that because i don't have sides to my case (well took them off) and its all open haha

Phoenix for my desk rig. BabyGirl2 for my laptop. Silent Angel for the build in progress. Foxden for my server. I name mine because it's easier to refer to them by a name in a thread than to have to describe them over and over.

I smoke around mine but after my P4 fiasco they get cleaned pretty regular.
