sim card pin

either 1111, 0000, or 1234

if you type it wrong more than 4 or 5 times the phone locks permanently and needs to be unlocked.

if it's a new phone that comes with a pin number then look at the instructions for the default number.

if it's a phone that is not new, and you just forgot it, then sorry, there is no way that you can access it.

do you mean sim pin, or phone pin?
like it this a pin number to unlock the keys, a pin number you need to turn the phone on, and pin number you need to access contacts and texts etc?

As far as I am concerned, SIM cards can't gave a pin number on them. You almost never want an old SIM card because it carries the contact/phone setup info of the previous carrier.

well, sort of. The disadvantage of phones without SIM's is that you have to rely on the store to transfer a new phone. Since the SIM card carries all of your plan info, you can just buy a new phone, pop the card in and your good to go.

If you've forgotten the code and you enter it wrong more than 3 times (with most networks over here) than your phone gets locked and you'll need to acquire a PUK code from the network and reset the pin.
