Hey ppl

My concern is that how old can a person be to give A+essential exam....

Do I have to be high school graduated or doesn matter?

What are the basic requirments to give A+ exam?

Requirements:

* You must pass two exams:
o CompTia A+ Essentials andone of the following:
o 220-602 for the IT Technician specialization or
o 220-603 for the Remote Support Technician specialization or
o 220-604 for the Depot Technician specialization
* Each exam contains 90-100 questions.
* To register you can do so online or via phone with VUE or
Prometric.

Costs: Each exam costs $158 ($124 for CompTIA members). Individual membership costs $59 for 12 months or $99 for 24 months.

When I took mine, I had studied for a few months from a A+ Review book created by Michael Myers. I liked it, and the material was easy to remember..

And no, there is no age / degree requirement.. it is a very, very basic certification. If interested in IT, do research as to what your specific career area requires or expects.

Some jobs of IT will love certifications, and some won't look at you without a degree. Some don't care if you have either, and want you to have experience...

It all depends. ;-p
